A pretty small park, with a river running through and some smooth flat trails. ALSO a few very steep trails that feed into Harriman park. Great jumping off point for a hike to Pine Meadow lake...its not close, but its a nice loop.
Great beautiful park. Free parking . Dog park . Bathrooms . Picnic tables. 3 hiking trails . I did the Orange mountain trail. It goes up a Rocky trail to a beautiful Vista outlook atop a rock. Bring good shoes . It's quite and peaceful.
I love this place! We had such a nice trail and topped it off with a great BBQ... Kakiat park has some BBQ pits and tables. Great outing.
